Coconut-Lemongrass Soup with Buckwheat Noodles (Tom Ka)

This post is a small homage to my recent travel to Thailand. I was so lucky to be able to spend a few days after Christmas and the New Years Eve in Bangkok. It was a truly great trip and I had the chance to catch up with family and friends and also to get lots of recipe inspiration from this trip. I will be posting recipes about some new Thai food discoveries in a next post 🙂

Today, I wanted to share with you a soup which is inspired by the very typical and iconic Thai dish “Tom Ka Gai”. The dish’s name actually describes it really well, it is a soup (“Tom”) with “Ka” (= galangal) and chicken (“Gai”).
