This recipe is for a bread machine.
1 ¼ cups + 3 tbsp Water, 80 degrees F
1 large egg
3 tbs. buckwheat honey
2 tbs. butter
2 ¼ cups whole wheat flour
2 cups buckwheat flour
2 tbs. dry milk
1 ½ tsp salt
2 ¼ tsp (1 package) active dry yeast
Add the liquid ingredients into the bread pan first, then the dry ingredients. Level the dry ingredients; quarter the butter and add to the corners. Make an impression in the center of the dry ingredients and add the yeast. Close the lid and select the whole wheat setting. This recipe makes a one pound loaf.
