Gorgeous Gingerbread Squares using Buckwheat Flour

Here’s a gorgeous recipe from the blog, Keep Calm & Just Bake.

Seeing as it’s Christmas – the season of indulgence – these classic gingerbread squares are perfect for filling you home with festive aromas. They’re a little bit naughty but if you don’t eat the whole batch in one go (which is hard I know) then you’ll be fine. I have reduced the amount of sugar, halved the amount of syrup and substituted plain flour for wholewheat buckwheat flour.’

These will be great as homemade gifts 🎁

1 large egg
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375° F (190° C).
